Devoted fans of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more comment on Instagram.

A number of fans also faulted event staff at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part version of the popular stage show Wicked, which centers on the unexpected bond between two very different characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, earning several for best costume and set decoration.
