🔗 Share this article The New Animated Series' Opening Sequence Selected the Wrong Popular RPG Show Song The Mighty Nein, the most recent animated adventure by the beloved role-playing group, unveiled a new introductory sequence. It features the beloved cast of misfits, misfits, and rogues fighting hard and making their mark, while also hinting at multiple agonizing personal histories for characters including Liam O'Brien's mage Caleb, and another actor's orc warlock, the character Fjord. All in all, the intro appears amazing. However, I felt that an element was lost in the song choice. This sequence uses "Welcome to Wildemount", an exceptional composition composed by artist the talented musician. This piece from the soundtrack album of the same name, the second one put out by Critical Role Productions LLC's record label their music brand. It's a wonderful nostalgic option, and I believe that devotees of the second campaign will love its inclusion. Personally, The series' intro doesn't quite capture the excitement and excitement that accompanied the second campaign's actual-play adventure. "Your Turn to Roll", written by musician Jason Charles Miller, became an immediate hit for me when it was first revealed in that year, and it improved further when cast member Sam Riegel added lyrics to the melody for the animated Campaign 2 opening in 2018. Including singing from one actress, another performer, a co-star, as well as the writer, the track was memorable and fun. At the time, I hadn't even watched the second campaign yet, but this was such an earworm that I still saved it on my phone. It's a song that knows how to get you pumped before you dive into an episode of adventurous fun. The show's intro with "Welcome to Wildemount" doesn't strike the right notes in my opinion. It's a grand composition, but based on my understanding of the group, I can't help but feel that its mood is a little off. Naturally, the creators has already said that the animated show will have a few changes and variations from the actual-play campaign. An adjusted mood for its opening appears as one of them. The Mighty Nein will be available to watch on the streaming service from November 19. If you can't wait before that, or wish to prepare to learn about the personas of the second series, the actual play are accessible on the audio platform and YouTube.
